Thought it would be neat to take a look at a few cool games that started from Kickstarter campaigns:
Shovel Knight (Yacht Club Games)
backers: 14,749
raised: $311,502
Shovel Knight is a retro-inspired 2D platformer that became a smash hit with its tight gameplay, charming pixel art, and nod to the 8-bit era. Love this game and kick starter kicked it all off!
Hollow Knight

backers: 2,158
raised: 57,138
Actually not one of the biggest raises for a game on kickstarter but still a solid sum. Who doesn’t love Hollow Knight? With over 235 million in gross revenue I would say this one worked out well for them.
Undertale

backers: 2,398
raised: $51,124
Certainly, one of the best RPGs ever got its start on Kickstarter. This is an awesome game and you should definitely check it out if you haven’t!
